   Hi Taylor -

   My name is Karl Hanzel. ‘Life-long cyclist… used to race, and have always been a bicycle commuter. ‘Lived in Boulder as of 26- years now. Presently volunteering with 350.org to put together an event to bring awareness to Climate Change, called “Moving Planet”, scheduled for Sept. 24th, a Saturday.

   It’s to be a world-wide day of action. Locally, we’re promoting a Boulder -> Denver ride. ‘Can find details so far here: http://www.moving-planet.org/, with our specific event here: http://www.moving-planet.org/events/us/boulder-denver/501

   We’re keen to recruit some folks of celebrity status, perhaps such as yourself to join us on the ride, and maybe even speak to the imperatives of taking direct action to help avoid the most catastrophic scenarios of Climate Change.

   Could you be interested? ‘Would love to have you & any other world-class cyclists. Your folks? ‘Thought i’d reach out to gov’ Hickenlooper too, as i know he’s a commuter cyclist.
